What can I do if I am wearing a Durogesic DTrans patch?
Durogesic DTrans patches are waterproof. You can shower or bathe as usual but do not scrub the patch itself.

You can also swim but do not wear the patch under a tight or elasticated band
You should not apply direct heat to the patch or the area around it. This includes using heat pads, hot-water bottles, electric blankets or heatlamps. Likewise saunas or hot whirlpool spa baths may also affect the way the drug is released from the patch.
